How much do Google Ads advertising campaigns cost?

How much do Google Ads advertising campaigns cost?

The cost of a Google Ads campaign is made up of two elements: the advertising budget, which you pay directly to Google and which depends on the clicks you receive, and the campaign management cost, i.e. the work of those who design and optimize it.

The advertising budget varies enormously depending on the industry and keyword competition: a click in a competitive sector like insurance or financial consulting can cost tens of euros, while in less competitive niches a few cents or a few euros is enough. This is exactly why there is no fixed price that fits everyone: every campaign needs to be calibrated on goals, market and competition.

With AImpeto the logic is simple and transparent: the quote you receive already includes strategic consultation, campaign setup, ongoing management and periodic optimization. No hidden fees and no percentage commissions on ad spend are added on top of the advertising budget: you know exactly how much goes into advertising and how much into the team's work.

Before spending a single euro in auctions, we start with an analysis of the keywords in your market and a realistic estimate of cost-per-click: so your advertising budget is defined knowing the numbers, not by guesswork.

The factors that determine the cost per click

The cost per click is the result of an auction and depends on four main factors: competition on the keyword (the more companies bid on the same search, the higher the price), the industry, the quality of the ad and landing page (a good Quality Score lowers the cost) and the geographic area where you advertise.

Timing also matters: in peak periods the same clicks cost more because competition increases.

How much does a click cost: some examples

Orders of magnitude help with budgeting: in low-competition professional niches (local craftsmanship, niche services) a click can cost from a few cents to €1-2. In most B2C industries it sits between €1 and €5. In the most competitive sectors (insurance, finance, legal, consulting) clicks can exceed €10-20, with even higher peaks.

The number that matters, though, is not the cost of the single click but the cost per result: one €5 click that converts is worth more than ten €1 clicks that bring no contacts.

How to reduce costs without reducing results

The main levers are: the Quality Score (relevant ads and well-crafted landing pages pay less for the same ranking), negative keywords (they exclude searches with no commercial intent and wasteful traffic), geographic and time segmentation (showing ads only where and when the audience converts) and continuous copy testing.

That is exactly the optimization work included in our management: over time, the cost per conversion goes down while the volume of results keeps growing.
